Robious Elementary School PTA will hold its biennial Raise the Rails live and silent auction, an adults only fundraising event, on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Salisbury Country Club.  The mission of the event is to bring the school community together while raising funds that directly enhance our children’s educational experience.

In the past, this fundraiser has paid for interactive smart boards, called Promethean boards, which have now been installed in every classroom in grades 1-5.  Per the request of the Kindergarten team, we plan to provide a Chromebook center for each Kindergarten classroom instead of Promethean boards.  This continued technology funding greatly depends on the auction, our most important fundraiser, which is held every two years.  The money we raise also enables our teachers to maintain the level of excellence we have come to enjoy by allowing them to take advantage of select professional development opportunities for which county funding is not available.

How you can help:

*Join the Committee!!  Please sign up to join the committee and be notified of future planning meetings HERE.

*Do you, your company, your family or friends in your circle have an item or service that can be donated for our auction, or would like to advertise in our auction program?

*Do you (or someone you know) have vacation property that you would be willing to donate for a weekend or week-long stay?

*Do you (or someone you know) have tickets to sports events or the arts that you would be willing to donate?

*Do you (or someone in your circle) know someone famous that may be willing to donate signed memorabilia?

*Other ways parents have helped in the past are to donate Theatre IV and movie tickets, summer camps, riding and music lessons, portrait sessions, college memorabilia and more (only new items can be accepted).

* Consider getting the kids involved. Each student has the opportunity to donate items that will be included in themed baskets for each grade level. These baskets are always a big hit and help raise a lot of money for the PTA. Click HERE for the grade level themes with a few examples. If you are unable to purchase and send something in but would still like to contribute, consider making a monetary donation below.
